The SurgeryLetters.com staff is a group of professionally licensed mental health therapists providing pre-surgery psychological evaluations and assessments which, when appropriate may result in a surgery clearance letter. Dr. Noelle Pomeroy is the founder of Surgery Letters and Evaluations. She is a Clinical Sexologist and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
An advocate for her transgender clients, Dr. Pomeroy was inspired to create the website to make evaluations for transition procedures more widely available.
Dr. Pomeroy is also the founder of the Jacksonville Center for Sexual Health and Jax Therapy Network. She is licensed in Florida.
Bridget Rivera
Bridget RiveraPsyD
Dr. Bridget Rivera is a licensed psychologist, Florida Qualified Supervisor, and holds the Master Addiction Credential (MAC). She has over 20 years of clinical experience working with individuals in psychotherapy and conducting psychological assessment.
Dr. Rivera is a practioner-scholar and values the practical application of scholarly knowledge. She is licensed in Florida and Maryland.
April Young
April YoungPhD, LMHC
Dr. April Young is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Sex Therapist. With a background in law enforcement, Dr. Young received her Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University and her doctorate in Clinical Sexology from the International Institute of Clinical Sexology.
Dr. Young conducts psychosexual evaluations for adults and juveniles. She is licensed in Florida.
